No not at all, SafetyCope is built for new installations and renovations. It’s a perfect fit to replace your traditional stone copings as SafetyCope is the same measurements as the standard size of Coping stone.
Can I put SafetyCope on top of my Concrete Coping?
No, SafetyCope is intended to replace your existing pool coping entirely. It’s designed to function as a direct substitute, and stacking it on top of your current coping could create a trip hazard around your pool.
How long will my pool be unavailable?
In most cases, installation of SafetyCope’s soft-edge rubber coping can be completed within a single day, depending on the size of the pool and site conditions. The process is designed to be quick, clean, and minimally disruptive, and during the installation process there's no need for heavy machinery or complex tools. This means your pool could be back in use within 24 hours after installation (Once Copings have Set).
